Family Festival 2005

FEN EDGE FAMILY FESTIVAL :: 24-26 June 2005

What a weekend! What a party!

Thousands of people attended and most of the events were sold out!!

Fen Edge Community Association (FECA) is very pleased to have sponsored, underwritten and organised this event.
The intention was to enable us all of us, of different ages and backgrounds, to have a great Family weekend and bring the community together to learn more about each other and what different groups of people do and to remind ourselves of our great community spirit.
It was an opportunity for member groups and charities to raise funds and awareness of their activities. We were delighted with the involvement of local Groups in planning and running particular events. We were sponsored in kind for a number of items that would otherwise have been expensive. Nevertheless the cash cost is expected to exceed £11,000.
We are very grateful for our sponsors without whom the event would not have been possible.
