Here we’ve set out our policy on the personal information we collect about you and the conditions that apply when you visit our website.

This website uses a product called MailChimp, a mailing service provider. Mailchimp is managed by a company called The Rocket Science Group, LLC, a limited liability company organized and existing under the laws of the State of Georgia. MailChimp accounts require a username and password to log in. When you're finished using MailChimp, please click the "log out" link in the top right corner of your screen, to prevent someone from using your computer to access your account. You must keep your username and password secure and not disclose it to a third party. Due to the sensitive nature of Distribution Lists, Mailchimp do not re-send forgotten passwords. Users must follow online instructions to reset their passwords if they forget them. Account passwords are encrypted. Mailchimp cannot see your passwords, Mailchimp can only reset them. Mailchimp complies with the EU Safe Harbor framework as set forth by the Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of data from the European Union. Mailchimp are notified as a "data controller" in respect of personal data about their UK clients whom they collect personal data from in accordance with their Privacy Policy. Under UK law, they are a "data controller" in respect of the personal data about their UK Members but not in respect of personal data about people on their members Distribution Lists (where they act as a "data processor"). They are notified with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office as a data controller in accordance with their Privacy Policy and their Registration Number is Z1907965.
We (FECA) do not allow access to our emailing list or to anyone’s contact details, and never sell or otherwise pass on personal information to third parties. No visitor to FECA website or MailChimp.com website is automatically subscribed to any marketing emails. All recipients of our email newsletter must have double opted in. We provide a one-click unsubscribe link in all email marketing that we send out. The unsubscribe is immediate.
